Qualification

The Qualification that you receive upon successful completion of the course is:
Btec Level 2 Award in Security Operations
This qualification is recognised by the SIA and is compliant with the requirements for the Security licence.

The course is a 4 day tutorial with 2 multiple choice examinations providing sucessful candidates with a certificate issued by Edexcel.

This qualification is recognised by the SIA as fully compliant with the requirements of both Part 1 and Part 2 of the Security licence.

Course overview

The course is broken down into 2 sections. Part 1 requires 22.5 hours of training and part 2 requires 7.5 hours. The sections comprise of the following modules;

Part 1

• Roles and responsibilities of Security Officers
• Customer care and social skills
• Fire safety
• Health and safety
• Dealing with incidents and emergencies
• The Law (civil and criminal)
• Procedures for the control of keys and equipment
• Assignment instructions
• Reporting

Part 2

• Communication skills
• Conflict management

We like to keep things as straight forward as possible and as such, we like to offer our services at ONE price for everyone... That means that you don't need to ring around and waste time simply getting ridiculous quotes.

Our fixed price for this training is just £250.00 per person INCLUDING VAT and the cost of the SIA licence is £245.00.

Unlike some other training providers, we won't hide VAT from the price's we quote. For comparison, the price excluding VAT is £212.78 which makes our price very competitive.

What to do next…

You will need to make a booking on one of our courses and supply us with some basic information.

Once we receive your booking we will reserve a place on the course you want (if there is space!). We will write to you to confirm your reservation once payment has been received and also give you a receipt.

Shortly before the start of your course, you will receive joining instructions with full details on what to expect, where to come to, what you will be doing and even what to wear for some courses!
